This newly created role will primarily assist in the development of the overall business in the D-A-CH territory. Reporting to the leader of the Germany business, this will involve developing online partnerships, retail and distribution initiatives and promotions as well as all the tasks related to account managing the Skype global accounts at a local level.
Responsibilities
- Account managing of global accounts at a local level
- Account managing of local partnerships
- Create and drive online and offline promotions along with our partners
- Manage the Skype affiliate program at a local level
- Identify additional online and offline business opportunities
- Help maintain the local website
- Help organize PR events along with our local PR agency
The role will be based in Berlin and candidates should ideally come with experience in a similar role or perhaps have worked as a marketing project manager. Able to work in an autonomous fashion within a Europe-wide team, you will enjoy juggling multiple projects and have a proactive nature. 3-4 years experience in an internet business is preferred, along with marketing exposure (both online and offline), project management and understanding business cases. Fluency in English along with native or business-level German is essential.
