Responsibilities:
Designing the user experience, human interfaces, interaction design, and ease of use of our flagship Skype for Windows product.
Requirements:
Experienced: Minimum 2-3 years experience in consumer software UI design. Design for desktop applications is a plus.
Knowledgeable: Adept at user-centered design methodologies, theories, and research. The usual stuff: mental models, affordances, widget selection, user testing, iterative design.
Educated: BA/BS or MA/MS in UI Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Interface Design, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Psychology.
Focused: Strong organizational skills, excellent communicator, including cross-functional awareness
