Purpose of the Role
To support its rapid growth, Skype is now seeking a Partner Manager to join the Skype for Business team based in London. The Skype for Business team is responsible for all products and services targeted towards business users. The individual will be part of a dynamic team focused on delighting Skype’s business users and growing the Skype user base by successfully launching and constantly improving the Skype offering. The individual will use new and existing partnerships to maximise growth and recognition of the Skype for Business offering. Make Skype the primary communications tool for business, through integration, innovation and creativity using all means possible.
Responsibilities and Targets
Identify good partnerships for Skype for Business and also negotiate and close deals
Help MDM’s to capitalise on our existing relationships at a local level.
Leverage existing partnerships to capitalize on our co-marketing deals
Be the expert, helping out different business development teams in getting the best deal for our potential relationships, from a Skype for Business point of view
Co-ordinate efforts internally with our development teams in Tallinn, and in London, our PR & Marketing teams, to ensure we deliver from a Skype perspective a mutually beneficial and successful relationship with our partners
Requirements
Experience
Experienced B2B marketer from an online environment
Online marketing experience is essential
Experienced business developer with excellent partner marketing or account management experience
Experience of working with creative agencies, and through line marketing is essential
Project management skills, including organizing, tracking, reporting and record keeping
Have the ability to drive a project and overcome obstacles
Ability to work successfully in the environment of a rapidly growing organisation of cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Be able to change priorities rapidly and work under pressure
Must have experience in a highly pressurised environment, be detail-oriented, articulate and incredibly organised
- Entrepreneur activities an advantage
- Doer, like challenges, takes responsibility, deliver to deadlines and drive for results
- Good numerical ability and analytical skills.
- Must possess a positive outlook and motivated attitude
Qualifications:
Graduated with relevant degree
Fluency in a second language advantageous
