Normal companies have their web sites in maybe 2-5 languages. Skype.com is available in 24 languages. Cool, no? We think it is. Keeping such large number of web sites up to date is a daily challenge, especially when it’s not a straight translation but rather an adaptation to local markets to better delight our users. Skype.com is in the very center of our activities so you’ll be right where the action is and no day will be similar to the previous one.
Responsibilities:
- You will be creating, publishing and maintaining Skype.com international web sites
- Making sure things happen in time
- Delivering high quality HTML to our quality assurance team
Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and experience:
- Good command of XHTML and CSS
- Understanding of W3C standards, specifications and best practices
- Previous experience with creating and maintaining web sites required
- Familiarity with JavaScript, SVN and Movable Type a bonus
- Excellent English
- Additional languages a bonus
- Ability to work as a team member
Location - Tallinn or Tartu , Estonia, Europe
