The Brief
Our small, but hard-working and friendly team is looking for an intern whose role is to assist us with localization of skype.com and Skype Client (for Windows, Mac and Linux) as well as a variety of other day to day activities. The position is multifunctional and offers an excellent opportunity to explore different areas like localization, web-development and project management. It also offers a great possibility to work with international teams (technical and business) all around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing translation requests and localization projects
- Assist in localization and upload of dynamic content in Skype Client for Windows
- Assist in localization of Skype Client for Mac and Linux
- Assist in localization of skype.com
- Contribute to improving localization processes
- Contribute to the implementation of Trados translation system in Skype
Requirements:
- Good team player and fast learner with a strong ability to cooperate with different people and coordinate internationally
- Very good written and spoken English, other languages a plus
- Ability to plan projects and deliver on time
- Basic knowledge of HTML, XML and image editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks) is a plus
