You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and features built on top of Adobe Flash technologies.
You will be part of Skype’s design department. The design department in Skype is responsible for designing the Skype clients for Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile devices, as well as Skype.com sites.
Main purpose of role:
Delivering applications and features built with Flash technologies.
You will work with graphic and interaction designers to design and implement new features that will be part of Skype clients and web sites.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining various Flash-based features within a small team:
- video in mood player functionality in Skype clients
- widgets for Skype clients and web sites
- web applications for public Skype.com sites and internal company use
Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and experience:
- Experience in OO programming
- ActionScript 2 and 3 experience
- Be at home both in ActionScript and timeline-based projects
- Be familiar with Remoting and Web Services
- Experience with front-end web programming (XHTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Experience with Flex and AIR is a plus
- Motivated self-starter who likes working on productive, small, fast paced teams
- Fluent in English
