Responsibilities:
* Testing Skype web applications from frontend to backend
* Define and execute functional, usability, regression, load, automation, security and performance tests on Skype internal and external web services
* Enable the testing of Skype web applications using automated scripts
Pre-requisite knowledge, skills and experience:
* You have deep understanding of QA and testing methodology and processes.
* You are familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SSI
* You consider yourself as average level user of SQL and programming (keywords: PHP, Python, Java)
* You are familiar with Unix systems, Apache and Tomcat and also feel home using shell
* You know and understand the main protocols of Internet network
* You are meticulous about details and quality
* At least one year experience of programming and testing of web applications
* Perl, Python, Unit and test automation experience is a big plus
* Experience with a defect tracking system (e.g. Bugzilla) helps
