Skype is looking for a Symbian developer. Your role will be developing the Skype application on the Symbian platform. In that you will be working within Skype's development organization, with both the architects and other developers, creating the solutions to fill Skype's mobile strategy on Symbian platform. Most important for us is that you are a good and competent C/C++ developer. It is obviously a great plus if your expertise areas are in mobile runtime platforms, services and networks and if you have understanding of the possibilities and limitations they offer.

Role
* You will be a developer in the team responsible for delivering the Skype solutions on the Symbian based mobile platforms.
* Your main task will be writing code, but you are also required to participate in estimating the workload and participating in the architectural discussions if needed.
Competences
* Strong C/C++ development experience is a requirement. You must feel comfortable in writing solid code and also reading and understanding the code written by others.
* Proven experience of delivering your code according to project deadlines and your own estimates.
* Previous Symbian development expertise and general competence in mobile service development and optimization is not a requirement but a strong plus.
*Previous experience of developing on Series 60 platform and development of application UI for mobile applications is a major benefit.
Location - Tallinn, Estonia, or Stockholm, Sweden.
