The Brief
You will work within the Skype accounting team and will be based in Luxembourg. Collaborating with business partners based in Tallinn, Luxembourg and the FP&A team in London. Involved in the Revenue accounting process, analyzing revenue streams/margins and works with Accounts Receivable to identify outstanding cash balances.
Key Responsibilities
Personality/personal attributes required
• Have excellent analysis skills, i.e. Revenue Figures and reconciliations ideally from within the telecoms or technology sector
• Requires someone who demonstrates the competencies normally associated with 4 years experience within Auditing and/or a Finance Analysis role.
• Experience of working with large data sets
• Experience in building data mining models
• Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Advanced MS Excel
• Experience of SAP or other ERP system would be advantageous.
• US GAAP revenue recognition knowledge is a plus
Qualifications
• University Degree in economics ideally with specializing on accounting
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or localized qualification advantageous
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of French or German is an asset
